Letselinzicht is not a client project but our own product, born from a collaboration between Eenvoud and personal-injury specialist Helder bij Letselschade. Senior personal-injury lawyers bring the domain expertise, we build and run the platform - a combination that led to the launch of letselinzicht.nl on 2 March 2026: the new calculation standard for personal injury claims.
The challenge
In personal injury cases, every file requires determining what a victim is entitled to: medical costs, household help, loss of earning capacity and more. The maths is complex and leans on the guidelines of De Letselschade Raad (the Dutch Personal Injury Council), which change and are indexed every year. In practice it happens in scattered spreadsheets and documents - slightly different at every firm, hard to trace and error-prone. For a field built on diligence and substantiation, that is a fundamental problem. That is how the idea of a shared standard was born: one tool in which every calculation follows the current guidelines and can be retraced step by step.

Our approach
We built Letselinzicht as a multi-tenant SaaS platform: every organisation works in its own isolated environment. At its core is the calculation module, modelled and validated together with the lawyers at Helder:
- Claim items calculated according to the guidelines of De Letselschade Raad, with automatic yearly indexation
- Future damages, present value and statutory interest calculated correctly
- Substantiated deviation is possible - every choice stays visible in the reasoning
- Complete damage statements as professional PDF reports
- Roles, teams and two-factor authentication, hosted within the EU
- Subscriptions and billing fully automated
We also developed AI receipt recognition: uploaded receipts and invoices are automatically recognised, split and matched to the right cost category. Under the hood runs an asynchronous document pipeline on Azure Document Intelligence, performing classification, extraction and categorisation step by step and verifiably.

Before launch, the platform ran internally at Helder bij Letselschade for over a year, where fourteen lawyers used it daily on real files. That practice period set the roadmap: what the lawyers needed got built - and what confused them disappeared.
The result
Letselinzicht is live and positioned in the market as the new calculation standard for personal-injury professionals: lawyers, experts and counsel on the victim side as well as insurers. The trade press covered the launch, and the pricing model is deliberately simple: €59 per user per month. For us it also proves a broader conviction - that combining deep domain expertise with our own product development produces software that moves an entire industry forward.
