Taskmaster is a no-code platform for recurring processes: approvals, checklists, inspections, escalations. We have been the development partner behind the product since 2022, building it out step by step together with the founders.
The challenge
In many organisations, recurring processes run through loose e-mails, manual work or rigid software. Changing a flow requires technical knowledge or an external developer - and therefore waiting. The result is predictable: processes stay as they are, even when everyone can see they could be better. Taskmaster wanted to turn that around: give non-technical users the tools to build and manage their own workflows, without code.
Our approach
Together with Taskmaster we developed a platform that puts process design in the hands of the people who work with it every day:
- Build forms and workflows with drag-and-drop - no code, no IT queue
- Conditional logic, approvals and triggers you configure yourself
- Role-based routing: tasks reach the right person at the right moment
- A real-time dashboard showing progress and bottlenecks
- A full audit history: every step recorded and traceable
- Designed to scale, from small team to enterprise
The biggest design challenge was not the technology but the simplicity: a workflow builder powerful enough for complex processes, yet one a planner without an IT background masters in an afternoon. Every new feature is tested against the same question - can the end user do this themselves?
The result
Whether it is onboarding, field inspections or internal approvals: teams build what they need, launch it immediately and refine it as they go - without waiting for IT. That prevents errors, and planners save hours of coordination every week. And because changing things is easy, processes keep improving. Four years after the first version we are still developing: the product grows with its users.
